Dr. June Guo serves as the Vice President of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and co-leader of the computational platform at Athos Therapeutics Inc. June leads strategies and development on AI/ML-powered software platform which accelerates the whole process of precision medicine discovery. Prior to Athos, he founded the machine learning department at Metropolis Inc, shipped machine learning and computer vision products in a year starting from scratch. Before joining Metropolis, he led cross functional teams on autonomous driving including perception and sensor fusion (camera, radar, LiDAR) algorithms. He also co-founded a startup in automotive space. June received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Illinois Tech and Boise State University, respectively. He has published 10+ conference, journal papers, and patents on machine learning, computer vision and AI.
